(NASDAQ: QRVO), a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile applications, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, today introduced the world’s highest performing broadband Power Amplifier (PA)—TGA2962. Designed for communications and test instrumentation applications, Qorvo’s power amplifier today offers several breakthroughs: it delivers an industry-leading 10 watts of RF power and 13dB of large-signal gain and 20-35% power added efficiency. This combination gives system designers the flexibility needed to improve system performance and reliability while reducing component count, footprint and cost.

The TGA2962 is built on Qorvo’s highly reliable Gallium Nitride (GaN) QGaN15 process technology with industry-leading features. In addition, improved component integration and 13dB large signal gain enables the use of small driver amplifiers, further reducing device size, which is a good solution for applications requiring improved size, weight, power and cost (SWAP-C) plan.
